Having never been in hospital for anything other than minor day surgery I was apprehensive about having a full knee replacement operation and it was important for me to find a consultant who treated me as a person and not just a patient. From the first time I met Mr Cope he set me at ease - he was friendly, listened to me and was happy to work around my particular circumstances. I also liked the fact that his technique meant no staples in my incision and no horrible surgical stockings. I felt that I received first class care from start to finish and couldn't be more delighted with my new knee.

I had my total knee replacement operation in February 2019 and am in my 9th week of recovery. From my 1st consultation to the actual procedure Mr Cope was extremely professional and concise in explaining everything throughout the whole process. I was shown X Rays pre and post op and he listened attentively to all my concerns before and after reassuring me throughout. I felt completely confident placing myself in his care and I wouldn't hesitate to ask for Mr Cope should I ever need another procedure of this type.

I must admit I was worried about my upcoming Total hip replacement but I needn’t have had any qualms whatsoever he didn’t use any staples or clips just stitches that melted away covered with a large patch I was back at work as a builder within five months albeit with some light pain relief The whole medical team were first class.
